Stephen J. Frush, age 64, of Warsaw, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020, at 5:11 p.m. in Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Steve was born Aug. 29, 1956, in Warsaw, to Donald Rulo and Carol Ellen Long Frush.
He was a Warsaw Community High School graduate of 1975. Steve proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Zimmer Inc., retiring in February of 2018 as a polisher. He was a longtime member of the Warsaw YMCA, along with other fitness organizations, winning several body building trophies. He was an avid Harley and dirt bike rider. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including his dog, Abby, and cat, Mickey.
Steve is survived by daughter, Maralee Frush, Muncie; mother, Carol (Lanny) Ellis, Warsaw; siblings: Michael (Pam) Frush, Bloomfield; Kathleen (Tony) Perry, Warsaw; and Jennifer (Scott) Hoeppner, Prosper, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Frush.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with a graveside service following at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Pastor Jeff Pfeifer officiating.
