WHITE PIGEON, Mich. - Stephen Henry Bornman, 69, of US 131, White Pigeon, Mich., and formerly of Syracuse, died Nov. 16, 2009, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend, after and extended illness.

He was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Indianapolis. On April 23, 1960, in Milford, he married Twilla Anne Morehouse, who survives.

He graduated from Syracuse High School in 1959, and Goshen College. Moving to White Pigeon from Syracuse in 1990, he owned White Pigeon Mini Storage. He was a member of Christ Chapel, South Bend.

Also surviving are a daughter, Candace (and spouse Jon) Martin, Fort Wayne; two sons, Chris (and spouse Rebecca) Bornman, Syracuse, and Shawn (and spouse Melissa) Bornman, Milford; nine grandchildren; and a brother, Patrick Bornman, Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Farrand Funeral Home, White Pigeon, Mich., with Pastors Steve Sumrall and Steve Coyle officiating. Burial will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.

Calling is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
