MARION — Stephen E. Lines, 66, Atwood, passed away Dec. 24, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Stephen was born Sept. 4, 1951, in Marion, the son of the late Arthur and Mary Warders Lines.
He was an orthopedic tool and die maker in Warsaw for 40 years. He was also an Army veteran. His proudest moment was seeing his grandson Conner born.
He enjoyed listening to music and had played the violin as a child. He also played guitar and enjoyed being around his friends. He was an avid fisherman and had a large garden.
He is survived by his son, Steve Lines (Mistie Beach), Syracuse; two sisters, Rebecca (James) Farr, Marion, and Susan Hurt, DuPont, Wash.; and three grandchildren: Conner Lines, Kyle Platt and Alyson Brown.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Hubartt.
Friends and family may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Jahn officiating. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion.
