Stephen Douglas Schmahl, 55, Syracuse, died Feb. 28, 2024.
He was born Oct. 13, 1968, in Detroit, Mich., to Judith Schmahl Eppich and Douglas A. Schmahl. Steve and Amy Tardy Schmahl were married in 1994 in Bloomington.
