Stephen A. Rogers, 53, North Manchester, died at 12:45 p.m. Aug. 17, 2013, at IU Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Jan. 22, 1960, in Warsaw, to Lamar and Myra Hover Rogers, both of Palmetto, Fla. On Sept. 21, 1984, he married Tammy S. Hiatt, who survives.
He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1978. He worked in industrial maintenance with the former Little Crow Co., Warsaw. He was a member of St. Robert’s Catholic Church, North Manchester, and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Lebanon.
Also surviving are two sons, Jon (and spouse Meghan) Rogers, and Joel Rogers, all of North Manchester; a daughter, Mindy Rogers, North Manchester; two brothers, Mike Rogers, Columbia City, and Chris (and spouse Lisa) Rogers, Cape Coral, Fla.; four sisters: Laura (and spouse Jeff) Parker, Lagro; Linda (and spouse Steve) Strong, Washington; Cathy (and spouse Craig) Smith and Susan (and spouse Gary) Simpson, all of Warsaw; and one grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Robert’s Catholic Church, North Manchester, with Father Tim Kroeger officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
