MENTONE – Stephanie Jo Dixon, 43, Warsaw and formerly of Mentone, died at 10:54 a.m. Sept. 5, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, following a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1971, in Plymouth, to Carl M. and Gloria J. Tucker Paseka. In September 1990, she married Joe Walton. In 2004, she married Samuel D. Dixon, who died Oct. 20, 2011. She was a 1989 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. She enjoyed poetry and many she wrote were Christian-based, and she enjoyed reading. Surviving are five children: Kylee and Cory Walton, Michael Paseka, Jacob Dixon and Ryan Brow; her mother, Mentone; a granddaughter, Abigail Faith Brunner; a grandmother, Ruth Tucker, Etna Green; a brother, Andrew (and spouse Meagan) Paseka, Van Wert, Ohio; an aunt, Cathy Ellis, Greenwood; an uncle, Steve (and spouse Kathy) Tucker, Etna Green; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by her father; a sister, Heather Paseka; two grandfathers, Mark Paseka and Joe Tucker. Services will be at noon Tuesday at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Rod Utter officiating. Burial is in Harrison Center Cemetery, Etna Green.
