Steak & Shake Restaurant representatives, Weihe Engineers, will appear before the Warsaw Plan Commission tonight at 7 p.m. for preliminary plat approval. Plans call for a re-platting of Lowe's Subdivision Lot 2, an area of 2.94 acres.
The request, if approved, combines the two "outlots" east of Lowe's into one.
The commissioners also will hear a request by Wilson Investments to change 12 acres along CR 330N, east of Ind. 15, from C-3, commercial, to R-3, residential. The petitioners plan a multi-family residential area to be known as Heron Preserve Apartments. A multi-family residential area is a permitted use for a C-3 zoned district.
The petitioners appeared before the Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals last month asking for a variance. The BZA denied the request.
The board also will hear a request by Elburn and Martha Robinson for an amendment to the zoning ordinance, splitting 26.9 acres at County Road 200N and U.S. 30, zoned I-2, industrial into C-3, commercial, and R-1, residential.
David and Susan Baldwin will present their development plan for Best Deal Auto Sales at 2942/2948 U.S. 30E.
