State Senator, Senate Candidate to Speak at Democratic Dinner

State. Sen. Jim Arnold and U.S. House candidate Justin Kuhnle will be the featured speakers at the Kosciusko County Democratic Party Jefferson-Jackson Dinner Oct. 19. Warsaw attorney David Kolbe also will speak at the fundraiser, which starts at 6 p.m. at the 2517 restaurant, 2517 E. Center St. Tickets are $30 and may be purchased at the party’s Wednesday meeting, by contacting a party officer or by emailing admin@kosciuskocountydemocrats.com In office since 2007, Arnold, Dist. 8, serves as State Senate assistant minority caucus leader. His committee assignments include civil law, ethics, public policy and pensions and labor. His professional experience includes working as an air traffic controller for the U.S. Air Force, as chief investigator and paralegal for the LaPorte County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, and as sheriff of LaPorte County. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Kuhnle, Fort Wayne, is a 2014 candidate for the U.S. House 9th Indiana congressional district. He was also a 2012 candidate for the 3rd congressional district.
