State Farm of Northern Indiana provided a $5,000 grant to Kosciusko County Educational Development to recognize their dropout prevention efforts in Kosciusko County. In three years, KC-Ed’s support of graduation coaches at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw and Wawasee schools have supported and mentored 143 students to graduation who might have otherwise dropped out. Without the support of State Farm, Kosciusko Community Foundation, United Way of Kosciusko County, area businesses, banks and community members, this would not have been possible. These funds will be used to support graduation coaches in Kosciusko County. Graduation coaches promote graduation, one relationship at a time, by mentoring students at risk for dropping out of school at Tippecanoe Valley, Warsaw, Wawasee & Whitko Community Schools.
