ELKHART – Stanley E. Barrick, 90, died June 26, 2015, at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen. He was born March 2, 1925, in Elkhart, to Earl and Lula Barrick. On March 8, 1951, in Goshen, he married Retha Witmer, who survives in Osceola. He was a 1943 Concord High School graduate, and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a devoted family man and worked at Whitehall Laboratories in the shipping department until retirement. Also surviving are: a daughter, Debra (and spouse Greg) Stuart, Osceola; a son, Michael (and spouse Sharon) Barrick, Goshen; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Padgett, Elkhart, and Gladys Petrie, Mars, Pa. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Robert, Wilbur and Charles Barrick. Cremation and burial will be in Mock’s Addition, North Webster, at a later date.
