I have the greatest love and respect for Officer Stanley. Our family entrusted one of the most precious gifts our son left us into his hands.
Our son was killed eight months before the birth of his daughter. Our grandchild and her precious mother lived with us for over four years before Stacy married Joe. My granddaughter has a wonderful father. Notice, I did not say stepfather. Joe has always been her father since the day he married Stacy. This wonderful man has taught her respect, truthfulness, hard work, the meaning of integrity and honesty.
Officer Hunter, I, too, will be glad when the truth comes out, not the spin that has ruined the lives of two officers and their families. How can the morale be up when neither the mayor, nor chief, stand up for two fine officers, with a combined 34 years of service, and their families?
