Stained Society tattoos and body piercing, 2124 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, is holding several events this weekend to mark its opening and to raise money for the grandkids of a woman who passed away from cancer. A costume contest starts Friday at 10 p.m., with a $200 prize. Events Saturday include a benefit ride for Ruth Radowski, with registration starting at 9:30 a.m. and riders taking off at 10 a.m.; and a chili cook-off and concerts by Sum of 3 and By the Joshes starting at 1 p.m. Funds raised in Radowski’s name will be used to buy Christmas gifts for her grandchildren, according to owner Enrique “Hank” Hernandez. “It’s kind of like gifts from grandman, even though she can’t be here,” he said. There will also be prizes and gift certificates for tattoo work Saturday; face painting, games and prizes for kids; and collection for Toys for Tots, Hernandez said.
