Stacy Stine, 44, born to Danny Lee and Charlotte Von on Feb. 24, 1974, in Warsaw, passed away March 16, 2018, in Prescott, Ariz.
He is survived by his father, Danny; brothers Rodney (wife Theresa and children Ashley Bryant and Lance Menzie) and Christopher (children Zachary, Alexis, Hannah and Danielle); his wife, Christina Kelly, Syracuse; and five children: Wesley, Kaylin, Ethan, Rebekah and Preston.
Mr. Stine battled Stage IV cancer for 2½ years — over two years longer than expected. He was a passionate and devoted husband, father, family member, scoutmaster (Troop 7195), business owner (Arizona Cap Co.), LDS church member (Stoneridge Ward, Prescott Valley), community leader (Arizona Republican Party member who held county and state positions), and party thrower.
He was a well-educated traveler of the United States and was also well-versed in world geography and international relations. He took many friends on tours to other countries. He was typically found in the outdoors with his family and friends, reading from his enormous book collection or scheming up countless business ventures.
He has joined his mother, Charlotte, to continue in the Lord's work.
The funeral service was Saturday, March 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
A memorial service will take place in Warsaw this summer.
