A Warsaw woman is in serious condition after her husband allegedly stabbed her repeatedly with a kitchen knife. The husband, Abundo Capulin Lozano, 35, was taken into custody by the Ohio State Highway Patrol hours after the incident. He was apprehended just before 11 p.m. Tuesday on the Ohio Turkpike in Cuyahoga County near Cleveland. Police responded at approximately 6 p.m. to a reported stabbing at the Green Acres Mobile Home Park, on East CR 200N, Warsaw, according to a press release issued by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department. Emergency personnel met with the victim, identified as Viviana Arias, 28, who was suffering from mutliple stab wounds. She told police Lozano had fled the scene driving the couple's car. Officers located the vehicle in Leesburg a short time later but it was unoccupied. The woman was transported to KCH in serious condition. Police say she had defensive wounds on her arms and also had a puncture wound to her face. The initial investigation determined the couple had gotten into a verbal argument that later escalated inside the mobile home when Lozano obtained a kitchen knife and began to stab his wife.
