A rogue squirrel led to some 1,200 residents being without power Friday.
The Kosciusko REMC substation near Warsaw Municipal Airport was zapped around 1:30 p.m. Friday after a squirrel wandered into the complex and caused the outage, according to KREMC spokeswoman Emily Cowan.
Cowan said workers were able to restore service within an hour, and switched customers to alternate substations as repair work was being done.
