In the Class 2A Sectional 34 contest, the host Bremen Lions defeated Manchester 49-21, advancing to this Friday’s matchup at home against No. 7 Churubusco. For Manchester, it’s season ends at 3-7. Jacob Casper ran the ball 16 times for 137 yards and two touchdowns in the loss, while quarterback Lucas Schilling ran for 91 yards and completed 18 of 27 pass attempts for 131 yards. The majority of Schilling’s passes went to Brodi Carter, who caught nine balls for 59 yards and Phoenix Goad hauled in six passes for 46 yards. Owen Johnson supplied the Squires’ other score, running the ball in from six yards out.
