Squires Get Two-Point Victory Over ZebrasNORTH MANCHESTER – Hayes Sturtsman threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns for Manchester in its 28-26 Three Rivers Conference football victory over visiting Rochester Friday night.
The Squires trailed 13-0 after the first quarter and 19-14 at intermission. Manchester took the lead in the third quarter and expanded the lead to 28-19 with a touchdown in the final period.
Sturtsman had touchdown throws of 15 yards to Devon Rooney, 65 yards to Trey Clark and 55 yards to Andrew McAtee. Delton Moore had a 5-yard rushing touchdown, and Klayton Hendrix hit all four of his point-after touchdown kicks.
Moore finished with 74 yards rushing, and Clark led the Squires with 74 receiving yards.
Manchester (3-5, 2-2 TRC) will host Maconaquah in the conference playoff game Friday.
