Squires Beat North MiamiManchester junior Koehl Fluke had a game-high 18 points, and senior David McAtee scored 17 points to lead the Squires to a 55-40 win at North Miami Friday night. The Squires won their first Three Rivers Conference game of the season without the benefit of a made three-point shot. Manchester held a 22-20 lead at halftime before outscoring the Warriors 16-4 in the third quarter to get some breathing room. “Great team effort. All 11 players got in and eight of those 11 saw action in all four quarters,” Squire head coach Mark Underwood said. “Koehl Fluke and David McAtee really came to play tonight. I was proud of our defense as we held a team with five wins to only 40 points on their home floor.” Manchester (2-8 overall, 1-2 in the TRC) travels to Bunker Hill to take on conference foe Maconaquah Tuesday.
