Lady Tigers, Vikings Fall
GOSHEN — The third-ranked Elkhart Memorial Lady Crimson Chargers ended the Warsaw volleyball season for the third-straight year at the Class 4A Sectional 4 at Goshen High School.

Matching up in the second round of the sectional Saturday afternoon, the Warsaw Lady Tigers fell to Memorial 25-18, 26-24, 25-13.

Memorial went on to defeat Elkhart Central in the championship 25-17, 25-13, 25-17, advancing on to regionals, where they’ll travel to play No. 2 Penn Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Osceola.

The loss ends Warsaw season at 25-8.

Saturday in Ligonier
The Tippecanoe Valley team had its season come to an end Saturday at the Class 3A Sectional 21 at West Noble High School at the hands of No. 9 Fairfield. In the 26-24, 25-19, 25-7 loss, Valley was led by Kelsey Ball’s eight kills, Kelsey Eckert’s 18 assists, Sara Alexander’s five blocks and Megan Bibler’s 23 digs. The loss ended Valley’s season at 10-17.
