SportClips Opens Warsaw LocationSportClips has opened its 20th store at 562 W. CR 300N, Warsaw.

To celebrate, the business had a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce. The Warsaw location is owned by Shaun Norton.

Katie Lewis, SportClips area manager, said SportClips started in 1993. Other locations include Granger, Kokomo, Westfield and Castleton in Indiana; Ohio, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

“We do MVP cut, steamed towel, shampoo, neck and shoulder massage,” she said. “We do free neck trims in between haircuts for 30 days.”

SportClips is geared toward haircuts for men but they “absolutely” also do women’s hair, she said.

“Our MVP has a new essential oil that we spray on the towels to kind of help you relax,” she said.

The store is decorated in a sports theme everywhere with lockers, stadium feel, lights and massaging shampoo chairs.

SportClips has an app to help customers schedule an appointment.

“You can go SportClips online check-in or you can to SportClips.com/checkin and set up an account. It’s pretty easy,” Lewis said.

Walk-ins are welcome.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, except all the major holidays.

Haircuts are $25, with Ultimate MVPs $35; MVPs $31; and Jr. and Sr. MVPs $28.

Lewis said they are still looking to hire a couple more people. For the Warsaw location, they have four employees as of Tuesday.

“Come see us, come check us out. Apply to work here. Come hang out. Come check us out. It’s a lot of fun. It’s a fun environment to work in, to play in, to get your haircut in,” she said.
