Fifth-graders in Mrs. Potts’ class at South Whitley Elementary School spiced it up in reading.
After spending a week with the story ‘Carlos and the Skunk’, students used the recipe at the end of the story to make their own salsa. The students helped to measure, chop and mix the salsa. And best of all, they got to eat their creations. Pictured are Isaiah Pierce and Cayden Nunley.
