A special judge has been appointed to adjudicate the case of the State of Indiana vs. Aaron Rovenstine in Kosciusko County Circuit Court. Evan S. Roberts, judge of Elkhart Superior Court No. 1, was appointed Friday by Indiana Administrative Judge Terry Shewmaker. Kosciusko County Circuit Court Judge Michael Reed has recused himself from the case. Sheriff Rovenstine was indicted by a grand jury on 10 felony charges, including bribery, intimidation and official misconduct. Also indicted by the grand jury were Grace College professor Mark Soto and convicted felon Kevin Bronson.
