NORTH WEBSTER – The annual “Heart of the Community Charity Auction and Raffle” is from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the North Webster Community Center. The $20 ticket price includes dinner and a chance to win raffle prizes. Prizes include a car, pontoon, watercraft, UTV, snow mobile, camper and $1,000. The event also will feature a live and silent auction. The event is held annually as a way to keep the center operational. Senior Prime Life Enrichment Center seniors will be selling paper light bulbs as a part of the “Keepin’ the Lights On” project, and buyers are asked to write their names or the names of loved ones to be displayed on the perimeter of the halls. Bulbs are $1 each or six bulbs for $5. Light bulbs can be purchased at the NWCC main office or in the SPEC room before Saturday. They can also be purchased the night of the auction.
