Duane and Rebecca Manns Spangle will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 16. Duane and Becky met in 1954 at Silver Lake High School. He knew immediately that she was the love of his life. They were married by the Rev. Aaron Stanley. In 1975 they founded Spangle & Sons Construction, where they worked until their retirement in 1996. They attend Silver Lake Gospel Hill Church. They were blessed with five children: Cheryl (spouse Larry) Gibson, Dana Owens, Bruce (spouse Lori) Spangle, Brian (spouse Tamie) Spangle and Russell Spangle, deceased.
