Southwood Snaps Squire Win Streak

NORTH MANCHESTER -ÊThe Manchester Squires saw their two-game win streak snapped by Southwood 34-8 Friday night in Three Rivers Conference action.

Southwood's Bryant Paul led the Kinght offense with 31 carries for 221 yards.

The Knights finished the evening with 384 total yards, 315 of them rushing. Southwood's defense held Manchester to 174 total yards, with only 67 of those coming on the ground.

Dustin Westafer ran the ball 14 times for 63 yards, while Farron Gaerte caught five passes for 95 yards.

Gaerte also led the Squire defense with 13 tackles. Austin Greer made 12 tackles, and Westafer had 11.

Manchester is now 4-3 on the season and 2-3 in TRC play.
