South Whitley Elementary School held its annual science fair this week. There were 87 participants in this year’s science fair. The top five winners were Rozlyn Bishop, Ryder Sroufe, Cade Bechtold, Sydney Day and James Langmaid. These winners will represent South Whitley at the regional science fair in Fort Wayne. Sroufe’s project was on levers. Bishop’s project compared homemade bread to factory-made bread. Langmaid’s project was about magnetism. Bechtold’s project was about how magnets change plant growth. Day tested flowers to see which one would last longer.
