South Shore Golf Course Ending Operations With SaleSYRACUSE – South Shore Country Club in Syracuse has been purchased by DP&P Investments and will cease to remain a golf course.
Brian Wuthrich, with Hahn Reality and Auction, said Polk Auction will be auctioning off all the equipment Oct. 17.
The golf course will remain in operation until Sept. 30, according to a news release provided.
The property had been listed for sale at $1.6 million by Wuthrich.
Carl Tuttle opened the golf club in 1929, and it was owned by others over the years.
Wuthrich said the new owners are still considering what they want to do with the property, but he did not have any further information.
