BERNE - South Adams ran away from Triton in the fourth quarter for a 40-6 win in Class A, Sectional 34 action Friday.
The Starfires led the Trojans 18-6 entering the final quarter, but got three scores to put the game out of reach.
Triton's only score of the night came on an 86-yard interception return from Scott Blackford in the second quarter.
Elmer Schwartz scored the first two touchdowns for South Adams to give the Starfires a 12-0 lead before Blackford's return cut the lead in half at 12-6 at halftime.
Jon Salisbury's 1-yard run gave South Adams an 18-6 after three quarters before the Starfires got scores from Eric Werst, Jason Nevenschwanber and Grant Krider in the fourth quarter.
The Trojans turned the ball over six times, three on fumbles and three on interceptions.
Triton finishes the season at 3-7.
