The Wagon Wheel has again produced a wonderful rendition of "The Sound of Music." The set, choreography, costumes, orchestra and the cast were all very special. I've seen several the play several times through the years and this is one you don't want to miss.
Jennie Sophia as Maria, and Susan Yoder as Mother Abbess were show stoppers with Susan singing "Climb Every Mountain." It was especially touching as they are daughter and mother in real life. Jane Klinhammer was very good, too.
Again, it was great to see Mike Yocum and Michael Vandemert in great character parts. To see just the children act is worth going to see the show. Each one was so in character and it was a delight to see and hear them. They were true professionals. Scott Michaels is to be commended for directing a great production.
