Over the past few days, the local news has featured Rep. Mark Souder discussing the loss of jobs due to the planned closing of RV manufacturer Monaco.
Like most Republicans, Rep. Souder sees drilling in ANWR as the panacea for all of mankind's problems. In addition to this acquiescence to Big Oil and Wall Street speculators, Rep. Souder suggests RV manufacturers and suppliers find some new, innovative ways to build a more energy-efficient RV.
Gee, Mark, where is it carved in stone that this area must remain the RV capitol of the world? Couldn't products such as solar panels, wind turbines and related materials be made instead of RVs?
