Sorg Nissan, located along Ind. 15 in Warsaw, is beginning a renovation project for a new sales and show room and building façade. DJ Construction is the general contractor for the project.
A ceremony took place Friday to commemorate the start of the project at the Sorg Nissan facility, 2845 N. Detroit St.
Formerly Sorg South, Sorg Nissan remains under the same local ownership and is converting its space to meet Nissan design standards.
This will involve around 4,700 square feet of interior space as well as the removal of 2,400 square feet of the existing canopy. The show room exterior will feature a new main entryway with flat aluminum composite panels, horizontal ribbed panels, and fixed aluminum louvers on the upper portion of the façade.
According to DJ Construction client representative Pete Garber, the construction team will maximize efficiency while minimizing disruption to sales and service operations, which will remain active throughout the project.
