Students in Mrs. Hood’s class at Washington Elementary School used carbon dioxide sensors purchased by the Warsaw Educational Foundation to test various soil samples.
In testing the samples, students used the results to decide which soil sample was best for growing plants. Students had to journal stating their hypothesis, noting their observations and discussing their conclusions.
