Howard and Evelyn Snively, 5623 E. CR 350S, Pierceton, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 31, 2012.
Howard and the former Evelyn Marie Hall were married Oct. 31, 1947, in a wedding chapel in Los Angeles, Calif., by Dr. I.P. Valentine.
Howard worked at Sun Metal while attending Grace College and Seminary. He served as pastor at Grace Brethren churches in Ohio, Washington State and Kenai, Alaska. After retirement he was a school bus driver for Warsaw Community Schools. Evelyn worked at Zimmer and Lakeside Chevrolet, both in Warsaw.
The couple have four children: Daniel (and spouse Joan) Snively; Michael (and spouse Beth) Sinvely; Dianne (and spouse Joe) Lund; and Janice (and spouse Ed) Strang; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Their children invite you to an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Dutchtown Brethren Church, 4180 N. CR 20E, Warsaw.
