Sunday's warm temperatures were enough to bring out this garter snake, which was spotted sunning itself along the Beyer Farm Trail near the Fireman's Building. The garter snake, varieties of which can be found throughout North America, represents the single-most widely distributed genus of reptiles on the continent.
