Moviegoers at North Pointe Cinemas had to evacuate the building Friday evening. According to Warsaw Fire Chief Mike Wilson, a damaged heating unit started producing smoke in a projector room, setting off fire alarms. There was minimal damage, and patrons were allowed to return to the theater shortly after 8 p.m.
