Smoking

Editor, Times-Union:

I was checking out my New Revised Edition of Webster's Spanish/English/Spanish Dictionary, and was thinking of my friends who speak the Spanish tongue.

I learned a few words of Spanish while in the Warsaw area, like cabo pollo and cerverza. Cerverza sounds better than "beer," that's what I think, how about you? One word that I never learned was "cigarrillo." Yes, I never learned the Spanish name for the cancer stick, the square, or whatever it is referred to, the cigarette. I'm sorry to say that I did partake of said items at one time of my life, and I was in an area where one just couldn't smoke. Namely Southeastern Asia. Yep, ye ole Vietnam and a person just would not want to light one up while out in no-mans land, because of the smoke smell travels so darn far. I took care of that problem, without patches, or anything like that, and lived to smoke again.

I heard that the Circle "Z" had banned smoking on the grounds owned by the company. There is no reason to get fired from a good paying job, just because a person is weak. If anyone is interested how to get around this, e-mail me and I will let you know, just how simple it is not to smoke, without a stinking patch. hotlzchili@aol.com
