Smoke

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:
Thank God for the cool, crisp air we’re having. Unfortunately, many of us don’t get to enjoy it.
The news people tell us to turn off the A.C. and open our windows. However, somebody in our neighborhood insists on filling our nice cool, crisp night air with wood smoke every night. This sends us running for oxygen and all kinds of breathing materials and meds to help us with our breathing.
Wood smoke makes our eyes, nose and throat burn and makes us wheeze and whistle all night and the next day. Please refrain from filling the night, or day air, with smoke so we can enjoy the clean air, too. We would appreciate it.
You are not out in the country. You have neighbors all around you.
