Wesley Smith, Warsaw, announces the engagement of his daughter, Heidi Smith, Warsaw, to Paul Roberts, Cypress, Texas. He is the son of Roger and Sandy Roberts, Texas. Heidi also is the daughter of the late Primrose Smith. The bride-to-be is a nurse at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, and mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Fort Wayne. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1994 and earned a degree in nursing from Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne. The groom-elect is a Maritime Enforcement Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, currently stationed at MSST, New Orleans, La. He graduated from BF Terry High School, Rosenberg, Texas, in 1999. The couple plan a September 2011 wedding.
