Etna Green Town Councilman Todd Slabaugh recently informed the town council that he has resigned his position immediately.
In a letter provided to the Times-Union today Slabaugh writes, “After a considerable amount of thought and consideration, I have come to the decision that I am resigning my position on the Etna Green Town Council effective immediately.”
Slabaugh said he cited personal reasons for the decision.
“I have enjoyed serving the citizens, towns and community for the past seven years and wish the council, clerk-treasurer and town attorney continued success.”
The Etna Green Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for its regular meeting. At that point they will discuss replacing Slabaugh.
