Skyler Scott Receives Roy Hine Scholarship

The Roy Hine Performing Arts Foundation Inc. announced the awarding of a fourth $1,000 scholarship to a student already enrolled in performing arts major studies at the university level.

The award, to Skyler E. Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Scott, Warsaw, brings the number of high school graduating seniors and performing arts majors who have received awards this spring from the foundation to seven.Scott is well known to Wagon Wheel Theatre audiences, having been cast in several productions at the theater since he was 9 years old. This summer he will join the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera Co. to perform in "Les Miserables" and in Barry Manilow's "Copacabana." In addition to his Warsaw appearances, Scott has appeared in more than 40 professional productions at such venues as the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre, Chicago, and the West Virginia Public Theatre.
