Two Warsaw sisters are heading up their own ice cream cart. Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce celebrated the new business Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting. Mother Natalie Poort said when they moved to Chapman Lake, they noticed there were a lot of kids who had never seen an ice cream truck, so they had an idea to get one going. Daughters Devin and Georgia are running Sister’s Ice Cream. Right now, the cart is going around Chapman Lake, Lake Forest and the Hoffman addition. Natalie said they have also talked about taking the cart to different events, but that hasn’t happened yet. Items sold include various ice cream bars like frozen Snickers. Father Emmerson said 10% of the total profit goes to Chapman Lake Conservation or first responders groups.
