The Ramada Wagon Wheel Theatre is celebrating their 55th season of professional summer theater with a six-show line-up that offers something for everyone.

Singles tickets are now on sale for the season. Adult tickets are $30 for all shows, tickets for students 13 through college are $16, and children 12 and under are $12. Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more.

There also are season tickets still available allowing you to take in all six shows for $159.

The season's line-up kicks off with "Cats". The show will feature all the singing and dancing you have come to expect from the Wagon Wheel.

Following "Cats" comes the first of two brand new shows, "All Shook Up". Incorporating more than 25 songs made famous by the King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley, and a story that loosely uses Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", placing it in a small Midwestern town in the 1950s, this show will have you toe-tapping along in your blue suede shoes.

The third show is Meredith Wilson's musical "The Music Man". Absent from the summer season for nearly 20 years, Wagon Wheel staff thought it was high time to bring back the show that gave you "76 Trombones", "'Til There Was You", "Lida Rose", "My White Knight" and more.

"Godspell" is yet another classic that has not been seen at the Wagon Wheel for a long time. Based on the Gospel of Matthew, this show by composer Stephen Schwartz ("Wicked", "Children of Eden") offers a fresh and fun take on the life of Jesus and his disciples.

This year's play offering is Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest". One of the most enduring comedies of all time, "Earnest" is a brilliant commentary on British aristocracy. The final show is the recent Broadway hit musical, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee". Centered around a fifth-grade spelling competition, this show explores, through songs and laugh-out-loud situations, the trials of being involved in "healthy" competition and of being juveniles in this crazy world. Members of the audience will also participate in the spelling competition onstage. This show is rated PG-13 for some adult content.
