Sin

I have been doing a bit of thinking, what really, really is the real cause of the situation we have today. I think I can pinpoint it down to one ugly word - sin. In other words if true brotherly love would have existed in the industries from top to bottom we may not be in this dilemma. I think I remember when unions first came to power, my dad saying, "Just think, once a man is hired, has work, he will never be without work." Meaning, when a company needs to cut production, they would cut hours of total employees, no lay-offs. That did not last long until seniority was introduced. Then when a company needed to cut production, they laid off men. Maybe never got called back again.

Unions - that means a company cannot operate its own business. They have to work things out with the union or they will strike. When union wants a raise they strike if necessary. Then the company goes shopping over seas for them to make their products. Our employees get laid off. No job they have little or no money to shop. That is why our economy is the way it is. It appears to me (no love) breeds trouble. "This is my commandment that ye love one another as I have loved you." John 15:12.

And as our president's term is about to end, I think Congress should make a motion to thank him for being our president. I think in years ahead he is going down as a great president. I say that because of the gigantic decisions he has made during his time in office. Some say, "Who wants four more years of the same." Meaning perhaps, that they would prefer war at home instead of the peace we have had. When 9/11 hit, a decision had to be made. Fight or wait for another. Now he choose $700 billion regarding the economy etc. Regarding the war - many do not understand what the war is about. My high school teacher said, "It is possible to have eyes and still not see (understand). I think the war is a spiritual war. I think unless we are of the spirit we cannot understand spiritual things. The war is not over land.
