Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) Amendment No. 1 for Wastewater and Storm Water Infrastructure Improvements Project

To all interested parties: This is notification that additional work with revisions to the scope are being proposed in relation to the Town of Silver Lake’s Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) dated January 2016 and adopted by the Town Council on March 9, 2017. The work proposed in the original PER will be revised and the following will be added to the project as Amendment No. 1.
The proposed improvements include the installation of a standby generator at the lift station. In addition, 250 vacuum station alarms will be added to the project.
The additional scope of work is more fully described in PER Amendment No. 1. The cost of this additional work ($41,000.00) was included in the bid amount for this project. The cost for the pump station alarms was included in Alternate Bid No. 4. The cost for the generator was delineated in Alternate Bid No. 5. No additional funds, beyond the bid amount, is being requested for this change. A copy of PER Amendment No. 1 can be viewed in the Clerk Treasurer’s office at Silver Lake Town Hall.
