Silver Lake Fire Department responded to a house fire at 11:07 p.m. Saturday at 401 N. Jefferson?St. No injuries were reported from the fire caused by a cell phone, SLFD Chief Morris Jones said. According to Kosciusko County property records, Ronald Phillips owns the house. Damage was estimated at $40,000.
