Kosciusko County Silent No More will hold a primary senatorial debate in March in Warsaw.
The debate will be March 6 from 10 a.m. to noon at Lakeview Middle School auditorium.
The four Republican senator candidates who will speak include Don Bates Jr., Marlin Stutzman, John Hostettler and Richard Behney. The seat is currently held by Democrat Senator Evan Bayh.The group previously held a Tea Party rally Nov. 21 when the candidates spoke at Lakeview Middle School. The rally was attended by approximately 1,600 people.
Kosciusko County Silent No More is a grassroots organization that is designed for the purpose of standing for freedom and the Constitution.
The group meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 210 S. High St., Warsaw, at 7 p.m.
Co-founders Monica Boyer and Jeremiah Heierman are encouraging people to attend the debate.
"The Kosciusko Silent No More group will simply be a tool for the candidates to get their message out," Boyer said.
Those who would like to attend and ask a question are encouraged to e-mail their question to kosdebate@gmail.com The questions will be randomly selected during the forum.
"It's time for Kosciusko County to have a voice in the political arena," Boyer said.
Boyer said it is time to choose a candidate who will speak for the people.
