Shrine Club Turkey Shoot This Weekend

Posted
ETNA GREEN – The 17th Annual Shrine Turkey Shoot will be Saturday and Sunday in Etna Green.
It will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Beeson’s Gun Range, 8994 W. CR 25S, Etna Green (just off Crystal Lake Road).
According to a shrine club press release, last year there was $7,5000 raised in two days thanks to local sportsmen and their families.
The annual shoot is to support the Kosciusko County Shrine Club, which is celebrating 75 years. The club is best known for the annual trip for third graders to the “Shrine Circus,” with over 60,000 students taken free of charge, since 1957. In addition, the club supports many other local and national philanthropic organizations. The Turkey Shoot is a fantastic way for the community to support the local Kosciusko County Shrine Club. The public is welcome.
Shoot a paper target, bring your own gun or the club can provide one, andshells are provided. Shoot for Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Serenade Foods Chicken, Walmart turkeys or meat packages, or cash. Children age 14 and under can shoot a .410 to win a .410 provided by Hunting and Tactical Solution of North Webster.
Participants may come for the shoot or a sportsmen’s silent auction.
