Editor, Times-Union: I believe we have a great community and feel we should “shop locally”, which helps all of us.
It’s difficult times and many businesses have gone out of their way to help us adjust to this economy and difficult times, with one exception.
Our local gas stations are always some of the highest in northern Indiana. I have been to Indianapolis and Fort Wayne when their prices were lower than Warsaw’s but that’s nothing new to most of us here.
There is no reason other than greed for prices to be so high in Warsaw, seems like the only thing they understand is money so maybe it’s time to give our local gas station owners a math lesson.
Stop buying gas in Warsaw. If you’re in another community buy your gas there. It would be interesting to see what happens if they lost our gas business and, speaking for myself, it just feels good to not get taken advantage of.
And to all the other business in town that are making adjustments and going out of your way to help us, thank you very much.
