Shirley ScottBOURBON – Shirley Scott, age 69, of Tippecanoe, passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Plymouth.

Shirley was born on Feb. 5, 1954, to Jim and Dottie Conley Allen in Salyersville, Ky. She was a resident of Tippecanoe most of her life. She married Robert Scott on Dec. 7, 1995. She was a homemaker and retired from Big Boy Products hitch manufacturing. She attended New Vision Church of Winona Lake. She loved spending time with her family and she loved her cats.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert Scott; her son, Shawn Griffith, of Pierceton; her six grandchildren; her great-grandchild; her brothers, Monroe Allen, of Packerton; and Nero Allen, of Warsaw; and her sister, Pauline Vegar, of Warsaw.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Dottie and Jim Allen; her sisters, Stella and Janice; her brothers, Jimmy Allen Jr. and Lonzo Allen.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with family members, Terry Scott and Amber Markel, presiding. Burial will take place in Summit Chapel Cemetery, Bourbon.
