Shirley Rowe, age 80, passed away at her home on Sunday, Aug. 16, 2026.
Shirley was born on Sept. 29, 1945, to the late Simon Leroy Sheets and Letta Hazel Henderson Sheets.
She was united in marriage to Harry Rowe Sr. on July 2, 1964, who preceded her in death on April 23, 2022.
Shirley enjoyed horseback riding with Harry Sr. She had a great love for riding horses. She thoroughly enjoyed crafting combat bracelets. Her most treasured time was spent with family and friends. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.
She is survived by her son, Harry A. Rowe Jr., of Silver Lake; siblings: Connie (Claude) Moore, Cathy Porter, Judith (Ottie) Williams; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Rowe Sr.; son, Arlie Rowe; and siblings: Frances Kay Lester, Leroy Sheets Jr. and Emma Belle Spence.
A visitation is planned from noon to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw. A memorial service in celebration of Shirley’s life to begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor William Whitaker officiating.
